Choose the areas that need context
Start with the tasks your team discusses most often: locating rooms, planning access or explaining a layout to a remote colleague. Identify the spaces the tour should connect. Decide whether service areas and plant rooms are appropriate for capture and who should be able to view them.
Keep a record of the capture boundary
Document the rooms included, inaccessible spaces and date of capture. An Orange County campus or multi-building property may require separate tours and a simple directory. Use building names consistently so a colleague opens the right record.
For exterior mapping, describe the area and purpose in the quote request. Equipment choice, site permissions and the required deliverable are part of that scope. An interior property tour should not be assumed to cover the surrounding land.
Review after meaningful change
Assign a review after a major fit-out, changed access route or significant equipment relocation. Keep operational instructions in the appropriate internal system. The tour gives the team a shared visual reference; the property record should explain how current that reference is.
Plan your Orange County capture
Send the property address, approximate size, preferred date and the deliverables your audience needs. Discuss your project.
